@02:38Never did get all these strange, disjointed and absolutely pointless "art" films. But I appreciate the effort that goes into putting a film together, and it's visually pleasing.

I really like the saturation and the scratchy cutting-room effects.

Daily Deviation

It's not the first time that a work of ~Uomo-nella-Pioggia has been suggested to me. He is part of that amazing trend of turkish artists, that use textures and surreal imagery in a very skillful way. I'm glad this has been brought to film and I'm glad this work was suggested. Enjoy Pharynx ( Suggested by Neuroticart and Featured by O-Uaglione )

@02:40muhteşem öncelikle görsellik.

"conflict" dedikleri nesne girmeli.

tekrar ...

sen yönetmensin olm !

Hello there. This piece is "Video-Art". Video Art is not necessarily meant to narrate a story or send out a message: it's an exploration of audio and visual media in itself. Perhaps this piece is part of a Video Art Installation and we're missing the context. In any case, the imagery and the tratment of video is very interesting. Not all audiovisual pieces are intended to have a literal meaning. :)

You know, I don't want to be rude here. I fully know there's a(n un)written rule in dA saying that instead of placing a disapproving comment somewhere, better not writing it at all.

However, not to minimise any of your 8mm and filming skills, which are there, how to put this nicely - not all of us are genius. Not everybody can make out the... script in this. Whether I'm idiot or this was something really random pretending to have a well-thought message-story behing it all.

(and surely there'll be someone to reply to this saying "yeah. You're idiot"; it's a must from the community)

If you listen to Gregorian music for a bit, you'll see that, even if it's old, quite harder to get and infinitely more distinct from modern music, you can still get a message from it. At least a feeling through suggestion.

Like you can get from the "entering the zone" scenes in Stalker (A. Tarkovsky, '79).

I saw some "The Ring"-related comments. "The Ring" had a story and comprehensible act in which, at times, these "creepy", "weird" and "meaningful" scenes switched scenery.

On the other hand, as deathtoll1912 put it, the image is great. So yeah, keep up the good work :).

Thanks for sharing your ideas which are partly true for me. There is no story because it's an experimental video which aims to reflect some dreamy shots relative to each other somehow just like everyone's dream and the point is just to create a mood here. These shots, depends on you either catching its feeling, message or not. I mean it's meaningless to set a relation between this short non - narrative with feature films. However if you would like to you can think about its narration or how to shots function in this narration instead of looking for a linear narrative. You know Tarkovsky and I'm sure then you know all the scenes with no narrative motivation.. If Stalker doesn’t make any sense to me that doesn’t make me an idiot either.. The last thing is if you’re not familiar to video-art and exp. artists like Stan Brakhage, Maya Deren and the others then you should check them in order to realize what is going on here. Again this is not a short-film or part of a “fiction”.

@02:40I love the visual effects in this. It reminds me of Hitchcock and the old film noir movies when absurdism hit the screens in Paris. The running man also reminds me of animations by Ryan Larkin. Good work. :)
